BReathe+ Neighourhood Management – Klondyke, Bootle New Heartlands Pathfinder

What is happening in the Klondyke area?

In March 2004, Adactus Housing formed the Breathe+ consortium and was selected to carry out the development and regeneration of the Klondyke neighbourhood in Bootle, as part of the 15 year Housing Market Renewal programme. The master plan includes the provision of around 1200 new properties to replace the 900 properties due for demolition as result of their poor condition and the failing housing market.

What do Breathe+ do?

Breathe + are the 'team' dedicated to delivering change and improvements to the Klondyke neighbourhood.

The Breathe vision is:

• To make Klondyke the type of place where people would choose to live.
• To make the streets cleaner, safer and smarter.
• To encourage new prosperity and foster new businesses.
• To reinstate a sense of community and feeling of neighbourhood pride.
