Manchester Care & Repair have designed and delivered DIY Training Courses to Residents of East Manchester on behalf of East Manchester Home Front. The courseswere delivered over 8 days in consecutive weeks with the aim of raising awareness and capacity building in the community. This is achieved by helping people to help themselves through improved skills and confidence in carrying out DIY tasks.

Adactus Housing Group works in partnership with Northern Counties HA, New Deal for Communities, and the East Manchester Voluntary Consortium to deliver the Home Front project. The project was funded by the Housing Corporation.

For more information about the project, please contact the Resident Involvement Team on 01942 608 715
