Kerbside

Kerrier operates a blue box scheme to collect recyclables from the majority of it's residents. Materials are sorted at the kerbside and placed into separate cages on the collection vehicles.

In the BLUE BOX place:

CANS - FOOD, DRINK AND AEROSOL CANS - Please rinse food and drink cans and make sure aerosols are empty.

GLASS BOTTLES & JARS - all colours, whole not broken. Please rinse and remove lids.

PAPER - newspapers, magazines, junk mail, yellow pages, phone books, catalogues, greetings cards, white envelopes, letters.

PLASTIC MILK BOTTLES  - Please remove the lids, wash and squash

In  SEPARATE BAGS :

TEXTILES

ALUMINIUM FOIL

BUNDLED TOGETHER :

CARDBOARD AND BROWN PAPER ENVELOPES (Collected by a separate vehicle)

Any sorting of the materials that you can carry out prior to collection would be much appreciated as it will speed up the collection process. It is particularly important that paper and cardboard are kept separate from each other.
