Restormel Borough Council introduced a new garden waste collection service in 2005. Green waste is collected fortnightly and must be placed in special biodegradable white sacks.

To find out where you can purchase these sacks call 01726 223649.

All green waste collected is composted and used as a soil conditioner on farmland, reducing the need for artificial improvers and benefiting the environment at the same time.

Once you have filled up your garden waste sacks call 01726 223649 to find out your next collection date.

Garden waste can also be taken free of charge to Menear Road or Trevenson Road Recycling and Household Waste Centres.
