1 . I have just moved into the area, on what day is my recycling collected?

Unfortunately we are currently unable to give specific dates for each household in Cornwall, but if you visit your D istrict pages  (by clicking on the map) you will find the contact details for your Local Authority who will be able to help you.

2. What assistance is available to the elderly or disabled?

If you have a neighbour, relative or friend willing to carry your recyclable materials to the kerbside that would be most helpful. However, if you are unable to find help you can contact  Cornwall County Council's Waste Awareness Team  or your District Council to arrange with their collection crews to collect your recyclables from a prearranged location, nearer to the house.

3. What are the collection arrangements on Bank Holidays and at Christmas?

You should be notified by your local council of any specific changes to your recycling collections due to bank holidays and the Christmas holiday.

To find out how to recycle your Christmas waste visit our home page , click the district you live in on the map and look under Christmas Recycling.

We also have some fun ideas about how to reduce your waste this Christmas.
