The Recycle for Cornwall campaign has been developed to raise public awareness of recycling and to provide consumers with a compelling reason to recycle.

Cornwall attracts 5 million visitors each year and during the summer months many Cornish residents also take to exploring their county either on holiday or through day trips. Recycle for Cornwall would like to encourage you to continue recycling when you are out and about and has some great ideas on how you can reduce, reuse and recycle this summer.

Pack a traditional picnic using a set that can be used again and again. You will save money in the long run and your picnic will feel much more special. Try to avoid plastic packaging when buying food for your picnic, choose packaging that can be recycled instead.

Fuel your barbeque this summer with locally produced, environmentally friendly charcoal and help support Cornwall Wildlife Trust at the same time! Cornwall Wildlife trust produce charcoal using traditional methods from surplus wood produced by active conservation management of Devichoys Wood Nature Reserve. All profits raised go back in to conservation work carried out in Cornwall.
